A cut-price liquor store which buys unwanted
alcohol before selling it on at a discounted price has opened in Tokyo –
believed to be the first of its kind.
The secondhand shop, named Liquor Off, will pay for your unwanted booze creating an eclectic wonderland of beverage-based cast offs for the thrifty drinker, according to a report by Kotaku.
The shop will not however purchase opened or half finished bottles of
alcohol, and instead hopes to build a collection of unwanted gifts and
forgotten beverages including beer, wine, spirits and Champagne.
Liquor Off is the latest in a line of Japanese secondhand shop concepts which includes the original Hard Off, a general secondhand store, and Book Off, for used books.
