Hollywood megastars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
have finally tied the knot after years of speculation at their wine
estate, Château Miraval, in Provence.
As reported by AP, the A-list pair managed to keep the high profile
nuptials a secret, sharing their big day with just 22 close family and
friends.
A spokeswoman for the couple confirmed to AP that the pair wed on
Saturday in a civil ceremony in a small chapel housed within the Château
Miraval estate.
The pair snapped up the 500-hectare estate in the Côteaux Varois, where Pink Floyd recorded their 1982 album The Wall, in 2011 for a reported US$55m.

Previous owner of Château Miraval, US businessman Tom Bove, had
leased the property, which includes 30ha of organically-run vineyards,
to the celebrity couple in 2008, before selling it to them in 2011.
The couple have been together since 2005 after meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith. AP reports that their six children took part in the wedding ceremony.
Eldest sons Maddox (13) and Pax (10) walked Jolie down the aisle with
daughters Zahara (9) and Vivienne (6) in the role of flower girls,
while daughter Shiloh (8) and son Knox (6) served as ring bearers.
The pair are enjoying unprecedented success with the rosé made form
their estate. The first 6,000 bottles of Miraval Rosé 2012 were snapped up within five hours of going on sale last March at the wallet-friendly price of €15 a bottle.
Pitt and Jolie partnered with Marc Perrin, owner of Château de
Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape on the wine, a blend of Grenache,
Syrah and Cinsault.
Last November, Miraval 2012 was the first rosé to appear in the Wine Spectator’s annual Top 100 list of the most exciting wines of the year.
This is Pitt’s second and Jolie’s third marriage, with Brad having wed Friends
star Jennifer Aniston in 2000 and Jolie having tied the knot with
English actor Jonny Lee Miller in 1996 and American actor Billie Bob
Thornton in 2000.
